Mr. Westside Rentals

New, 23 comments

The LA Times features Mark Verge, the founder and owner of Westside Rentals, in their latest "How I Made It" column. The 40-year-old married father of two began LA's favorite listings service back in '96 after selling his coin store. It's safe to assume Verge is no longer a renter himself; his Santa Monica biz employs 80 people and lists about 20,000 apartments, houses, and rooms for rent. Fun fact: The entrepreneur's first big splurge was a $50,000 racehorse he named "Hide From the Bride." [LA Times]
