On the Racked: New Linda Loudermilk, John in Glendale, Marc Jacobs Windows

New, 9 comments

The latest store info, retail gossip and sidewalk scenes from street-obsessed Racked LA, the newest member of the Curbed family.

MELROSE HEIGHTS: A look at the Tighe Architecture-designed Linda Loudermilk boutique at Melrose and Flores. While the opening date doesn't look like it'll be till at least 2009, here is your look at the two-story, 4,200-square-foot boutique. Tighe Architecture is also behind that recent affordable housing building that's breaking ground next week.

GLENDALE: OK, Racked LA goes way off course on this one. For a street scene--in which readers weigh in on a look--we get John, shot at Louise and Colorado Streets in Glendale. Go say hello to John.

MELROSE HEIGHTS: Racked LA stop by and looks at the latest window display for Marc by Marc Jacobs windows, a display that "emanates a different brand of flower power. A fashion party with a premium on head wraps and sunglasses, knits and geometric prints." Full, pretty gallery follows.
