Tejon Ranch Deal Is Good

New, 2 comments

"But to set aside this much land so close to Los Angeles, where development has gone unchecked for the past half-century, is remarkable, a testament to the cooperative spirit in which this conservation plan was formed and the strength of the desire to keep the courts from deciding the fate of Tejon Ranch." The Times says this will be a sanctuary for the condors, but at last check, at least one group isn't happy about the deal the birds are getting. [NY Times]
