In March, the Redfin Sweet Digs blog questioned why the Southern California MLS--the listing service for homes--doesn't include square footage on the listed properties. An update! Following that blog post, the MLS is now coughing up that data, and the Redfin site, which displays listings from a feed offered by the MLS, now displays the square footage. But while handing that information to Redfin, the Southern California MLS isn't listing that information on its own site. Huh. [Redfin]
