Here are the answers to your three tidy questions. If you have a question for next week's R & B, you can email us at la@curbed.com. Questions shall be posted this Tuesday.
[The mysterious lot at 7th and Rampart]
HOLLYWOOD: That historic Hollywood theater may not be such a good homeless shelter. Commenter Jerjoz reports that the dozen people spotted sleeping under the Hollywood Boulevard theater were "in a line-up with handcuffs [Tuesday] morning. Two squad cars there as well." Meanwhile, anything significant happening to the building? There's a leasing sign on the outside of the building. But Kip Rudd, Sr. Planner at the city's Community Redevelopment Agency, tells Curbed: "We haven’t received anything about the restoration of the building."
BURBANK: An reader from Burbank who wanted to know about the Burbank Collection: Last summer, we wrote about prices dropping at the Burbank Collection--they'd hit $698,491. Today, a Craigslist ad notes that condos now start at $600,000. Just a reminder: The Burbank is 60 lofts and 58 condominiums and two-story penthouses on Palm Avenue. The thing is still under construction, according to the Burbank Collection construction cam.
PICO-UNION: About that lot on 7th and Rampart: Congratulations. Yes, it does fall into one of the 12 worst gang neighborhoods. As far as development, this is a question that'll we'll follow up on as no answer was immediately available, but it's pictured above.
