Record Houses of 2008

New, 6 comments

Architectural Record lists its Record Houses of 2008 in its April edition. Among those projects scooping up some prestige is Silver Lake's very own Maltman Bungalows. Christopher Hawthorne, writing for AR, notes the project's unique appeal in this horrible land we call Los Angeles. "The Maltman Bungalows, a preservation project by Drisko Studio Architects, promotes history, density, neighborliness, and walkability—all in the middle of a city, Los Angeles, that isn’t known for any of those things."
