Via the Lotta Living forum: A commenter claims architect Frank Lloyd Wright's Alice Millard House, aka La Miniatura, is on the market for $7.5 million. The house recently underwent an expensive restoration after it was purchased in 2000 for the bargain basement price of $1.3 million. According to estimates at the time, restoration was expected to cost at least as much, because "glass was incorporated internally into the concrete blocks by hand. This method of construction caused the imploding/exploding difficulties found in Wright’s other concrete-block houses in Los Angeles." We have yet to find the listing online, but the recent open house tour yielded this gorgeous flickr set by user Wildbell.
UPDATE: The Lotta Living members point us here for the Architectural Digest listing. Seems to be a Mossler & Doe property, but still haven't found the MLS listing.
