It wasn't until the Los Angeles Fire Department released their own set of Flickr photos--the photos were posted this afternoon--of this morning's Hollywood fire that it's clear how close under-construction project Palihouse Vine was to this morning's blaze at the Hollywood and Vine intersection. As City Council President Eric Garcetti noted, a billion dollars worth of development could have gone up in smoke.
