ConstructionWatch: Madame Tussauds' Wax Job

New, 4 comments

While renovations are underway on the Gene Autry museum and the Natural History Museum, let's not overlook how work is going at Madame Tussauds' museum, currently rising at Hollywood Boulevard and Orange Drive. "The work is still subterranean, building underground parking," Jack Holland, external relations spokesperson for Merlin Entertainments, the England-based owner of Madame Tussauds, tells Curbed. Completion is expected for summer 2009 on the three-story structure. Newest rendering posted this afternoon. [A shot of the construction via the Skyscraper forum.]
