Santa Monica Apartment Signs: Best of the Bunch

Googie, dingbat and tiki fans, a Flickr photoset for you! Flickr user and Santa Monica resident silsurf has compiled a pretty awesome set of photos of apartment building names in his neighborhood. He writes on his page: "There are the ugliest darn apartment buildings around here, all built in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Many of them have one outstanding characteristic, name placards that conjure up images of the Rivira, Mediterranean, Palm Beach and other romantic beach communities of the world. I guess Santa Monica should be on that list as well. Often these name sign are the only visually interesting part of the entire building."
