An update on that utility pole that is ruining the view--and quite possibly their property value--for a Lakewood couple. They have filed a "recently filed a formal complaint against SCE (Southern California Edison) with the California Public Utilities Commission for the March 20 installation of the 13-ton electric pole without notifying city government or residents." Additionally, SCE workers are getting an earful by passerby who come to look at the pole. "If Southern California Edison crew members are nearby, they get yelled at to take the pole down..."
