With prefab building all the rage, it's interesting to see how these antique, 100-plus year-old homes from Indonesia are being pitched. Via the Inbox: "Antique Prefab Houses, these are Javanese houses...Mel Gibson just bought two for his property in Malibu. Most people use them as guest/pool houses, but since they are similar in material to the Venice bungalows, you could easily put one on an empty property and live in it." At about 700 square feet, they're selling for around $45,000, about the same price as that modern, 21st century version.
