Development may be booming in Culver City these days, but after 85 years in business, Stellar True Value Hardware store at 3838 Main Street, a Main street that is referenced as the shortest Main street in the U.S. by the LA Times, is closing. But don't blame the real estate downturn or a rent hike for this one. "We're retiring," co-owner Jack Barton tells Curbed. Last day to buy your saws, nails, and such is May 25th.
