If Not A NFL Stadium, How About A Mall?

New, 21 comments

Billionaire developer Ed Roski Jr, the guy who wants to bring a NFL team and a 75,000-seat stadium to the City of Industry, may be the most optimistic guy out there. So upbeat! He makes us believe we may even get that team after all. Today, Roski tells the San Gabriel Tribune a number of NFL teams have contacted him--he "named as potential tenants the New Orleans Saints, Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers." He hopes to have the stadium, which would include plans for office, retail, and restaurants, completed by 2011, but also says that if can't land a team, the land will used for a retail center.
