Celebrity Real Estate Wrap: Brent Bolthouse, Vincent Gallo, Google's Eric Schmidt, and More

New, 15 comments

DJ/SBE Entertainment's/"The Hills'" Brent Bolthouse is renting out his John Lautner-designed house in the Hollywood Hills (pictured above). Built in 1947, it's a two-bath, two-bedroom available for $10,000 a month. Considering how well-connected Bolthouse is and how many people he knows, it's surprising that the home needs a listing to be rented out. [Real Estalker]

And more Lautner news: Vincent Gallo may have found a buyer for the Wolff estate. Actor Gallo put the home on the market last year for $5.995 million, prompting Real Estalker to note that Gallo was trying to flip the Hollywood Hills property, described as "an insanely modern work of art in wood, stone, and glass—for just under $4 million." Buyer reveal: Google's board chairman and chief executive Eric Schmidt purchased Ellen DeGeneres' Monticeto estate. The 1926 estate was listed $20 million. [LAT]

Time to downsize: Former U.S. Secretary of State Warren Christopher has listed his Beverly Hills at $3.259 million and is moving with his wife to a condo in Century City. [LAT]

"Grey’s Anatomy” actor Isaiah Washington has sold his four-bedroom condominium in the Hancock Park area for $1.5 million. [Big Time Listings]

Former "ER" actress Alex Kingston has listed her Hollywood Hills home for $4.75 million. [Big Time Listings]

Actor Channing Tatum, who appears in "Step Up" and "Stop-Loss," purchased a three-bedroom Laurel Canyon property for $2.595 million. [LAT]
