The asshat is almost ready for its close-up, Mr. DeMille. 7950 Sunset, a mixed-user at Sunset and Hayworth with five levels of apartments topping retail and restaurants, will be completed this summer; no word yet on retail tenants, but as previously reported there will be a "Rooftop Sky Lounge with bar," as well as a pool and "spa." Unit prices were listed as $1,750-$3,400/month back in 2005. One thing to remember before the inevitable a'hat trashing—7950 will no doubt liven up this stretch of the Strip, which is clogged with more gas stations and car washes than Winnetka.
