Rumblings & Bumblings: Dirt Lot on La Cienega, Giant Antenna on Crescent Heights and a Chinatown development

New, 20 comments

Put on your thinking caps. Three questions have been submitted for this week's Rumblings & Bumblings. If you have an answer, you may leave a comment or you can email us at la@curbed.com. Answers shall be posted this Thursday.

1) Mid-City West: Dirt is being pushed around. Questions uncovered. "There's some earth moving happening at the long-vacant lot at the northeast corner of Olympic and La Cienega (pictured above). Does this mean that at long last development is happening here?"

2) WeHo Adjacent: A giant antenna looms over WeHo. What does it mean? "What's the deal on the giant antenna at Crescent Heights and Willoughby? It seems to be in someone's backyard, and doesn't look like a cellular tower. It's a good 40-50 ft high - seems like more than you'd need to watch Dr. Phil, eh?"

3) Chinatown: We have heard of this development - 280 apartments and a few renderings. Regarding the Chinatown Gateway project, "have you guys heard of this? Any other renderings from the one online?"
