A topic recently covered on the site, construction crews continue to carve out an Echo Park hillside to build a 36-unit townhome development at 1601-1633 Echo Park Avenue. The construction spawns most of the block (and the stretch between coffee shop Chango and the Delilah's bakery), but we've only been able to find a small rendering of the project, which is being developed by a company called Angeles Group. With hip stores cropping back up down the street, new residences will only make the area more lively, but please don't let this thing be too ugly.
