An update to a recent Rumblings & Bumblings (Question #1) query about the ongoing construction at the former Santa Fair Pharmacy. A reader informs us who will soon be occupying the storefront. "A week or so ago, a rumbling and bumbling q was about the SE corner of Santa Monica Blvd/ Fairfax. Most responses said that there was no construction based on the fact there were (allegedly) no permits, even though there was obviously a lot of work going on (I'm sure there's a "...tree falls in the woods..." comparison here). Well there's a sign up now, and we WeHoans and all those passing through can enjoy the wonders of a tacky little store front entitled: "Ortho Mattress." [Curbed Inbox]
