An office tower planned for the intersection of Centinela and Sepulveda has cleared a Culver City development panel, reports the Daily Breeze. The Entrada tower has already provoked the ire of local group Westchester Parents, which deems the building an ugly block of ice ("It's like a giant, melting ice cube") and claims it will block views of the nearby Westchester Bluffs. The group's gridlock concerns may have some justification—the 13-story structure will have nine levels of parking (two would be underground). Developer Centinela Development Partners said they could mitigate traffic by installing a nearby left-hand turn lane and urging workers to take public transit or carpool.
