Reader and frequent picture taker Brigham Yen emails us the above picture of one of the fancy Metro time table boxes which are about to get even more fancy. Via Mr. Yen: "The new LCD displays will start showing when the next train arrives by May of this year according to someone I spoke to at Metro. This is exciting news for transit-subway riders since it's very convenient when you know when the next train will arrive instead of being kept in the dark!" We anticipate that at the first hint of budget shortfall, the electronic schedules will eschew train schedules in favor of McDonald's Beefy McAngus adverts. We know how Metro loves those.
