SILVERLAKE/ECHO PARK: The flip of the week, this 1922 Craftsman plus a barn on a 7,500 square foot lot at 748 Maltman Avenue (pictured above in gallery) was sold on January 2007 for $591,500. It just hit the market two days ago for $999,000. That'd be a nice return.
DOWNTOWN: Originally listed in December 2007 at $460,000, a 745-square-foot unit at 1100 Wilshire (#1804) dropped down to $399,000. Listing is here.
SILVERLAKE: Last fall the Silver Lake Twins - a prefab project by Resolution: 4 Architecture and Empyrean at 3422 Fernwood Ave was listed for $349,000 and $337,000 for each lot. That price was land-only, with plans for three-bedrooms, three-bath homes. New listing prices for these Dwell homes: $259,000 and $244,000. That's a 25 and 28 percent drop, respectively.
