A quick update to this mornings disastrous fire at the KB Home's Ascent condo development in Warner Center. First, via the comments "'Sparks' was the cause according to a worker on the scene." Second, the LA Business Journal reports that Ascent was the "first new project by [KB Homes'] KB Urban division after the company pulled out of the Convention Center hotel project at L.A. Live in December 2006." And lastly, KB Home's stock is up 8.66% today on news of the modest bump in existing home sales for February. [LABJ/FOX Business]
