Ask Curbed: I'm Going on Vacation, Where Do I Ditch My Car in Echo Park?

New, 46 comments

Let's close out our recent round of parking questions with one from a reader who doesn't want to come back with a tan and a towed car.

"Dear Curbed. When I go on vacation, I always drive up to this street above me in EP because that street--for some reason, i don't know why--doesn't have street-cleaning rules. It's always worked out for me but FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, I came back and found this note (pictured) on my car, saying its illegal to stay on a street for '72 or more consecutive hours. 'So am I supposed to put my car in a garage or what and will they tow next time?" Got a question but not an answer? Say hello.
