AIA Awards Announced: Lorcan O'Herlihy, Kanner Architects Among Winners

New, 6 comments

Last week, the American Institute of Architects handed out their eighth annual Housing Awards and a few local Los Angeles-area firms won prizes, including Lorcan O'Herlihy Architects, which won for its Habitat 825 condominium development in West Hollywood, while Kanner Architects won for its 26th Street low-income housing project in Santa Monica. There were four categories: one- and two-family custom housing; multifamily housing; one- or two-family production housing; and special housing. A sampling of the winners (a winning Lake Tahoe home is pictured above) in the gallery. Nice work everyone.[All photos and captions via Architectural Record.]
