CurbedWire: Sunset Silver Lake Discount, Prices For Downtown's Brockman, and Barker Block Tenant

SILVER LAKE: Tough times for Sunset Silver Lake Lofts or final push to get them through the door? Regarding that brand new development on Sunset (units have been on the market for a while), a reader forwards a flyer with the header: "This Saturday Only Save $100,000." While the flyer promises the first five lofts only qualify for the $100,000 off price, there's also lunch and sangria. Bottoms up. [Curbed InBox]

DOWNTOWN: A reader forwards the price list for the Brockman, that lovely building at 530 West Seventh. Whether this is the most up-to-date information is unclear, but per this list of released units, the cheapest one is an 802-square-foot unit for $389,000, while the most expensive one is a 1,319-square-foot-unit for $875,000. DOWNTOWN: First an upscale market, now a non-profit. Downtown is kooky like that. The Step Up women’s network, a national non-profit group dedicated to "strengthening community resources for women and girls" has moved their national headquarters into Barker Block, that sprawling development at 510 Hewitt Street in the Arts District.
