1. A home originally built for John Barrymore in 1936 on Outpost Estates in Hollywood is listed at $3.2 million. Luxist digs up the listing and notes that home is a "real slice of old Hollywood." [LA Times]

2. Richie Sambora has paid $4 million for the seven-bedroom Calabasas home of San Diego Padres pitcher Randy Wolf. The home had been on the market for $4.250 million. Listing is here. [Big Time Listings]

3. Kelly Van Halen, the former wife of drummer Alex Van Halen and an actress who appeared in Siegfried & Roy: The Magic Box, has listed her five-bedroom Encino home for $4.495 million. Features include "limestone floors, four fireplaces, imported chandeliers, a verandah with views of the tree-studded grounds, an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue area, a pergola with a fireplace, and a swimming pool."
