Councilman Greig Smith (CD12) has sent out an email alerting opponents of the Las Lomas project that he will be introducing a motion "to have the City make a formal policy decision to stop the massive Las Lomas development project." The project will then come up for discussion before the full council on Wednesday the 19th. Via Smith's email: "I encourage you to attend this Council meeting and voice your opposition against the massive Las Lomas tsunami of sprawl. We need the rest of the City Council and the developers to hear from the people that would live every day with the tremendous impacts of over 5,500 homes at the 5, 14, 118, 210 and 405 Freeways."
