Curbed Reader Comment Round-Up

The best posts usually originate in our comments. To give appreciation to our amazing (and sometimes angry) commenters we feature their broad strokes of wisdom in a tidy comment roundup.

1) Metro's Big Plans: Subway To The Sea Just Tip Of The Iceberg "We will all be dead before most of this is built or even funded. Someone please promise to take my urn for a ride on the subway/light rail from Silver Lake to Santa Monica, then spread my ashes on the beach. For now, the map is pretty. I'm gonna enlarge it, print it, and frame it as art." [geegee]

2) Here Come The Press Releases: South Group Says Sales Just Fine "ugh! O.K., some clarification on the press release I wrote... Elleven is sold out and yes, Luma is almost sold out too! By the numbers:
-Luma has 236 units.
-By January 2008, 213 units were sold.
-In the next three months, 20 more were sold (which = 11% of total inventory. Do the math: 236 divided by 20=11.8%, to be exact).
-SO as of today, March 14, 2008, 233 units have been sold and only 3 residences remain. You all get an A! ;-)" [SouthCollection]

3) Ask Curbed: Is This Loading Zone For Real? "valets also race the cars they park. They drive around during lulls picking up chicks with your car."
