Adventures in Signage: Venice Kiosk Booths

New, 7 comments

A reader sends in a photo showing two sides of a "public amenity" kiosk on Abbot Kinney Blv. and Main St. in Venice. The stands are part of the city’s street furniture contract with CBS/Decaux, but our reader writes: "What is the information? That the MacBook Air is the world’s thinnest notebook? At least the “Venice” is useful, for people who might otherwise think they’re in Pasadena or the San Fernando Valley." More on the city's complicated deal with CBS--and why we're all seeing ads--via this Citybeat article.
