Ooh, fancy. Tomorrow night is the official "turning-on-of-the-lights" at LACMA, but reader streetrunr sends us the above digital photo of a test of the Chris Burden-designed art piece. "LACMA's new 'Urban Light' sculpture was actually turned on in the evening for the first time last Saturday night (February 2nd)." The light poles will link the original LACMA with the soon-to-open Broad Museum of Contemporary Art. If you want to be surprised by tomorrow's amazing light show, please forget you ever saw the above picture.
