CurbedWire: South Park Goes Celeb, Bike Plan 101

New, 2 comments

DOWNTOWN: Crafty Portland developers are quickly learning about the LA schwag scene. Later this week, the South Collection (Evo, Luma, et al) will host "Green with Music," a luxury lounge and gift suite for Grammy Award performers, presenters and stars at the developer's sales office at 408 W. 11th St. Some of the proceeds will benefit "Make It Right 9," Brad Pitt’s project that builds green affordable housing in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans.

DOWNTOWN: And speaking of the South Collection. Last week, a tipster reported that two penthouses at Luma were sold, one to a “TV personality,” another to an “international recording artist.” The relative fame of each person? No clue. Big enough to get schwag?

LOS ANGELES: And some news for people who pedal. Over the next month, Council president Eric Garcetti is hosting four public workshops to discuss the city’s Bicycle Master Plan update. If you can’t make one of the four workshops, don't cry. You can learn all about the Bicycle Master Plan can visit
