NoHo's Ark: A Center For Children Who Want to Be Architects

New, 13 comments

Last night's meeting for the Southeast Valley citizenry to gather to hiss and boo at developers (they really did hiss and boo) was pretty exciting. We'll have our report done shortly. But in the meantime, here is something to tide you over. Behold, NoHo's Ark - a charter school proposed for a sliver of land between the Orange Line and Chandler Avenue in North Hollywood. Architects Franco & Associates of Studio City were in attendance showing off their model of what is proposed to be LA's first charter high school focusing on architecture, engineering and construction management. The three-story school will include 24 classrooms for a maximum of 500 kids. Approval of the school is still pending.
