Rendering/Reality is a Curbed feature that considers the often unsubtle differences between what a building looks like in its renderings, and what it looks like when they get around to building the thing. Nominees, please.
Man, Mura is brown. Not offensively so, but wow, that thing is brown. Bringing new housing to the Arts District, the 190-unit building (Mura is Japanese for "little village") at 629 E. Traction Avenue only has a few units left, according to the Downtown News, which also notes the available units start in low $400,000s. (Last fall, the sales staff said six units remained.) Meanwhile, how's the pool, residents?
