The City of Garden Grove, in the OC, has rejected plans for a "Latino Themed Water Park." The developer of the water park planned a "Latino Hall of Fame, 14 lagoons, Aztec, Inca and Mayan riverwalks and a television broadcast from the park featuring Latino artists." The water park would have also included a 1,500 room hotel. Garden Grove was also the location for a planned amusement park and casino built around a cultural center dedicated to the late King Hussein of Jordan. [OC Register]
