Drunks, Writers Rejoice: Bukowski's East Hollywood Bungalow Saved Forever

New, 2 comments

Tired of this story? Yup, us too. But poet Charles Bukowski's bungalow at 5124 De Longpre Ave has been named a historical landmark. Via the San Diego Union-Tribune: "The Los Angeles City Council approved the designation of the brown stucco home, where Bukowski lived from 1963 to 1972, without further debate or a roll call vote, acting on the recommendation of its cultural heritage commission."
