Gahh. Here's your daily moment of shame, Los Angeles. Good Magazine has posted Part one of its five-part series on Skid Row. Part One lays out the facts- "the average age of a homeless person in the US is 9-years-old." We're hoping we get to the happy moment of redemption early on in the series. It's only about four minutes long (less credits), so it's worth watching if you have a moment. UPDATE: Some people don't like this filmmaker. On his blog LA Cowboy, Brady Westwater calls Sam Slovick "the very worst kind of poverty pimp; someone who exploits the homeless to promote himself and his career, no matter how much damage he does to their lives."
