Burbank, Calabasas and Baldwin Park all received A's by the American Lung Association, which judged cities by their efforts to protect non-smokers in public spaces. Glendale got a B, while Los Angeles, Long Beach and Pasadena got C's. Santa Clarita, Torrance, Palmdale, Lancaster and El Monte got D's. And sweet Jesus, Pomona failed outright.
