Photos from yesterday's press conference at the St. George Hotel in downtown to celebrate the first solar electric system installation at a low-income, multi-unit building on the West Coast. According to the Downtown News, the panels are expected to cut energy costs by $2,000 a year. Actors Will Ferrell and Ed Norton are both supporting the project; press release here. Norton was on hand because he's the grandson of developer/philanthropist Jim Rouse, founder of Enterprise Community Partners (one of the companies involved in the solar power project).
