Disney's red headed stepchild, California Adventure, is finally getting a facelift. Actually, it's more like total re-constructive surgery. Disney is ponying up $1.1 billion to remake the amusement park, a five-year redo that'll rip out less popular rides and add new ones for the ADD-afflicted, video game-addicted kiddies. The company is also redoing the entrance and killing the anemic and somewhat oblique theme "Tributes to California" to refocus on the Disney brand.
