The LA Times reports that Councilman Dennis Zine (CD3) has introduced a motion that would create "a minimum 'personal safety zone' around individuals targeted by the media" in response to the Britney Spears/paparazzi fiasco. How said "personal safety zone" would be enacted and whom would qualify to get one (do reality TV d-listers qualify?) remains unclear. Zine went on to say: "Celebrities have a right to live in peace and freedom."
