Ah, Venice. This is the home, which sits on a 6,000 square foot lot on Palms (east of Lincoln), that came to market last December. And there were a lot of headsnaps when people saw the asking price of $950,000. Blogs across the country picked up the post--people in places like Minnesota were laughing at us, saying a home like that cost $130,000 where they lived. They laughed even harder when they found out this two-bedroom home wasn't even on the beach. Anyway, at some point this spring, the home, which was eventually PriceChopped to $899,900, went off the market. Two weeks ago, this sign emerged on the yard. New asking price: $869,000. We're told they are selling it as is.
