LOS ANGELES: Thanks to Fuji Water founders Lynda and Stewart Resnick, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is getting a Renzo Piano-designed Exhibition Pavilion, a very small (200 feet by 180 feet) exhibition space. This looks like some sort of helicopter landing pad, but yes, this where it'll go. [Curbed Staff]
LOS ANGELES: Sam Lubell, LA editor of the Architects Newspaper/man about town, has a new book out. It's called "London 2000" and it features 30 innovative, transformative buildings finished in London after the year 2000. More importantly: There's a book party next Wednesday. It's from 7-10 at the LA Forum at 6520 Hollywood Boulevard. All are welcome. [Curbed Inbox]
