Each week ListingsWire mentions notable movements on the MLS: New listings, price chops, flips, and more. Spy movement? Email us.

VENICE: A couple of outraged people have pointed out the price tag on this three-bedroom, two-bath home located at 908 Flower Avenue in Venice. The listing (the home is in the gallery) touts that it's only "8 blocks from Venice Beach." Not so fast. Check out Google maps. Anyway, it's priced at $948,000. Regardless of location, the bathroom looks way too tiny for that price. If you're going to pay $1 million for a home, two people should be able to fit in the bathroom at the same time. WEST HOLLYWOOD: Does anyone know the story about this home? It looks like someone walked away from a demolition. And on a pretty good-looking home. Located at 148 N. Swall Drive, the home is now boarded up and the owner is asking $1.75 million. Via the listing: "One of a kind development opportunity! Approved plans for 3 spacious units of approximately 1850 square feet, each with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms." [Redfin]

ECHO PARK: Local broker Ken Shapiro's newsletter promises a good deal, people. He writes: "This property was withdrawn from the market a few weeks ago at $519,000. It will shortly be going back on the market at a SIGNIFICANTLY reduced price. At the new price it will be a GREAT DEAL."This is the property. A pretty small-looking one-bedroom, one and half-bath on Scott Avenue in Echo Park. No word yet on this new price or how significant the drop will be. [1609 Scott]
