Curbed Poll: Pricechop for Cheviot Hills House

New, 18 comments

Welcome to this version of "New To Market," our look at a listing with a reader vote. Consider this an unscientific way to take the buying pulse of a wary public. Feedback and nominees to the tipline, please.

When we first noticed this house on the market back in July, it was listed for $2.65 million and well, let's face it, the owners were smoking rock to ask that much for this house on the Rancho Park Golf Course. And that was after its first pricechop and a relisting. Original asking price: $3.2 million. But like a bad penny, it just keeps turning up. The five-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath features an open floor plan, polished cement floors, exposed steel beams, and a view of the 18th hole. New asking price: $1.75 million. Listing is here. So are the owners still high?
