Construction Watch: Venice's Brooks Avenue Townhomes

New, 2 comments

Rising on 512-522 Brooks Ave, Brooks Avenue Townhomes is being developed by Woodland Hills-based Heritage Home Development, the same people behind that townhome development on Pacific Avenue in Santa Monica (the one with those interesting Ikea cabinets). This project has some similarities looks-wise to the Santa Monica project, although it's doubtful that the Pacific Ave. project was tagged up during construction. This development, which was delayed at one point, will offer six units (four townhomes) and two stand-alone condos. Prices haven't been set yet, according to a real estate agent repping the project, while construction is expected to be done by March or April of 2009. Following that failed Venice condominium project--the Pioneer Bakery Building at Rose and Fifth--we're just happy this one will actually be completed.
