At an early morning breakfast and ceremony yesterday at the Luxe Summit Hotel in Bel Air, the Southern California Development Forum (SCDF) Annual Design Awards were handed out, the prizes given for projects ranging from a Whole Foods in Venice to a new downtown park (Vista Hermosa). The one project we didn't recognize was the winner of the "Outstanding Concept Award." Pictured above, the award went to Roger Sherman Architecture and Urban Design for an office project at 12803 W. Washington Blvd in Culver City. According to the Culver City West Neighborhood site, this would rise on the old Baldwin Motel site.
