When one thinks of Pritzker Prize winner Thom Mayne, one usually thinks of municipal and commercial projects. With the exception of that recent Hermosa Beach beach house, we don't often see Morhphis' residential projects featured, so we perk up when we see Mayne's name mentioned in a listing. And architect's Michele Saee's home, designed by Mayne, is currently for sale in Beverly Hills. The four-bedroom, five-and-a-half bath in Franklin Canyon features "unusually dramatic space, soaring volume, meticulous design and details." The listing also tells us Mr. Saee is a "MOTIVATED SELLER." Asking price: $1.959 million or $485 per square foot.
