Execs at Burbank Airport, who have been trying to ban noisy nighttime flights, voted yesterday to oppose a plan that would ban loud jets at Van Nuys Airport, reports the Los Angeles Times, the theory being that those noisy jets would then come to Burbank. According to the Times, operators at both airports say a ban would shift the jets to each other's airports. More on the proposed ban at Burbank here. [LA Times]
