This anxious missive just hit the Curbed inbox: "i just listed a house for rent on craigslist (LA) and when the confirmation page came up it looked like this: Paid to craigslist 2008-11-25 -- payment ID Description, 2 Bath - Silver Lake - Brand New MODERN House, Price: 0.00, Total To Be Charged: 0.00. Does that mean they are testing their format and will soon charge to post?" Knowing Craig charges for some posts (including real estate agents' listings), we checked with Craigslist CFO Jim Buckmaster, who wrote in an email that there are "no such plans" to charge non-agents to list ads.
